Wir werden uns auf jeden Fall Gedanken machen, wie man das mit Run.GPS realisieren könnte. Sinnvoll wäre es auf jeden Fall!

Vielleicht sogar als eigene App, so dass bei der Installation von Run.GPS auf dem Handy auf der Smartwatch zwei Apps mit installiert werden:
- Run.GPS Remote (Interaktion mit Run.GPS auf dem Handy)
- Run.GPS Standalone (zur Verwendung ohne Telefon)

Dies notwendigerweise der Zukunft. Bald werden alle angeschlossenen Uhren für den Sport mit einem GPS ausgerüstet werden. Sony war ein wenig zu früh. Schade RunGps war nicht zu erwarten. Ich habe viele Foren gelesen, und ich bin nicht der einzige, zu wollen, ohne meinen Laptop laufen. Es war ein Weg, um die Popularität hinter anderen Anwendungen wie Runtastic, RunKeeper oder Endomondo zu fangen. Zu meiner Smartwatch 3 verwenden, denke ich, Änderung RunKeeper. Doch Rungps ich seit 2009.

Aktuell gibt es dafür keine konkrete Planung. Aber wenn es mehr Smartwatches mit GPS gibt, werden wir es auf jeden Fall in Erwägung ziehen.

Ja, das ist so. Allerdings läuft dann immer noch die Kommunikation weiter, welche benötigt wird, um die Benachrichtigung zu aktualisieren (jede Sekunde 1 Update). Also solange die App auf dem Telefon läuft.

Hmmm, habe ich jetzt nicht verstanden, aber das liegt dann daran dass ich keinen Schimmer habe wie die Kommunikation zwischen den beiden läuft.
Ich dachte die App in der Smartwatch könnten beim Start den Beginn des BT-Traffic anfordern und beim Beenden der smartwatch ein letztes Kommando abgeben, die Kommunikation einzustellen.
Das würde ja dann auch beim Akku-sparen helfen, wenn ich die App zwar benutze aber beim Laufen immer wieder dimme....

Nichtsdestotrotz.... eine kleine Message zu Beginn, um zu erinnern dass man die App auf "Run.GPS for Wear App" aktiviert hat, wäre schon ein großer Schritt.

Guten Morgen. Ich hoffe, dass meine Rezension wird verständlich sein, weil ich mit Google-Übersetzung. Ich bin Französisch und Sprache ist zu schwer für mich ??. Ich eine Uhr Smartwatch3 Sony gekauft, weil es eine integrierte GPS hat. So ist es autonom. Ich dachte, ich könnte RunGps ohne mein Smartphone. Es ist bequemer, meine Jogging zu tun. Dies ist möglich, mit Runtastic zum Beispiel. Aber das bedeutet nicht unterstützen RunGps. Wenn ich das Telefon auszuschalten, stoppt die Anwendung. Sie wissen, eine Lösung? Vielen Dank.

Yes this is already done. The problem is just the notification for the app, not the app itself. While
the smartwatch app is running, you cannot avoid lots of data being sent to and fro.

But the notification also causes a lot of Bluetooth traffic because it's updated every second. So the
question is if we should drop this updates notification and should just show a simple notification like:

As i have no idea what details are involved to communicate between the devices... i can just throw some ideas...

What would be the best solution for the user?

Can the smartwatch app talk to the phone?

What about sending a request to phone to get data, once the smartwatch app is up and running.... and sending a request to stop sending the data once the Smartwatch app is switched off?

Yes it does.

If
- Smartwatch is connected
- "Run.GPS for Wear App" activated in the settings
- But Wear app is not running on smartwatch
the app running on the phone will send constant notification updates to the smartwatch, which does consume a lot of battery. To avoid this, you should disable the "Run.GPS for Wear App" setting while you don't use the Wear app.

Perhaps we should show a simple text message "Start Run.GPS Wear App ..." on the smartwatch instead of showing time and distance there. Thus, sending notification updates would be unnecessary. What do you think?
