Polar Wearlink Bluetooth HRM does work with Run.GPS!

Hi everyone,
Since my Zephyr HXM locks up during normal Jogging (about 3-4 times within one hour) and the Zephyr support turned out to be very nice but not helpful at all in solving my problem, I decided to spend some more money... I could not find any statement indicating whether the Polar Wearlink Bluetooth HRM works with Run.GPS or not (why??), so I just ordered one from the SportsTracker Shop (no, I am not affiliated).

After my first run I can say: Yes, it works on my Touch HD with Run.GPS, no lockups! Just choose "other HRM" in the settings and that's it. It will not show the current battery status for the HRM but honestly, I don't care. Also it does not have an accelerometer (I don't care) and I don't know whether you can get RR data from it (I don't care).

What the Polar does: It reliably transmits a heart rate without lockups and this is what I do care about. The Zephyr is a nice idea, but Zephyr did not do their homework.
