Full Android wear app stops at start
Situation:
Full Android App Notification card stays active and let you open App but then on opening App -> Error Message 'Rungps pro has stopped'
LG G Watch R wear version 5.0.2 ; Samsung S5 with Lollipop 5.0
The normal RunGPS notifications still work! So I have an alternative till the full App works.
Configuration options of the full Android App look very promising, thanks for that!
Wann ist den ungefähr mit der Verion 3.04 zu rechnen ?
Die jetzige Anzeige ist zwar ok, aber viel zu klein.
Beim Joggen kaum ablesbar.
great about the Samsung smart watch app, I use Samsun gear 2 and I hope to have the app as soon as possible! About smart watch's built-in heart rate monitor I tried 3 different Samsung gear smart watches (gear 2, gear 2 neo and gear fit, not even the "live") with Samsung software and the built-in heart rate works very bad, it is not accurate at all. So I hope optical heart rate monitor in the future will work bettere and in the mean time we will be able to use the band even using the smarth watch run.gps software. Thank you!
In Run.GPS 3.0.3, we have support for smart watches through notifications. Through these notifications, you can display training parameters, start and stop a training or start a new lap (split). This will fully or partially work also on smart watches with operating systems other than Google Wear, if those smart watches support forwarding notifications.
In Run.GPS 3.0.4 (not yet released), we will have a full Android Wear app with the following features:
- Full screen display with good readability and configurable screens
- Ability to use the smart watch's built-in heart rate monitor so you don't have to use an extra heart rate monitor (we currently use the Samsung Gear Live and this works great, but nb: not all heart rate monitors will allow continuous heart rate monitoring, the heart rate monitor in the Asus Zenwatch for example does not allow that)
We definitely recommend an Android Wear device, if possible one with built-in optical heart rate monitor!
Will RUNGPS work with any smartwatch that's compatible with my mobile device such as the Samsung Gear smartwatches or only with Android-wear based smartwatches?
