Yes, that´s right
I dont know how many others would be willing to install Czech TTS, but I did so

Excerpt from official Android resources:

"The TTS engine that ships with the Android platform supports a number of languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Also, depending on which side of the Atlantic you are on, American and British accents for English are both supported."

So this means that'd you'd have to manually install Czech, right?

OK I understand. But honestly I'm not really informed right now which languages are built in in which release of Android.

I have for instance the following languages in Android 2.2: EN, FR, DE, IT, ES

Which languages do you have built in (which come with the OS, not the "extended TTS")?

well I was targeting Android version only, since I understood, that situation is as You described and in that case I believe its only question of translation of the text, because built in TTS takes care about voice synthesis - am I right?
.....
is it problem if available languages are different in Android and WM versions?

Adding other languages: we would really like to do this but right now we do not have TTS (text-to-speech) modules for other languages ...

Currently the situation is as follows:
- Google Android: the OS's TTS is used, basically all languages can be supported that are supported by the built-in TTS
- Windows Mobile and Windows Phone: we use our own TTS, which is available only for EN, DE, ES, FR

czech voice output

Hi, I would be interested int preparing Czech voice output - is it somehow possible to get actual excel sheet? or I just very quickly went through google doc from cfernandes´s comment and prepared this first translation
- it is not very easy since in Czech the form of the word depends on other words in sentence (sorry for my english - I am sure there is much more sophisticated way how to describe this problem) so examples in column G were highly welcomed

But we already have Dutch :-)

We have: DE, EN, ES, FR (with voice output) and HE, NL, RU, CZ, IT (with English voice).

Any chance of converting to Dutch now as well?
