No problems with new buid

Sorry delay, but I was in rollerblading accident. :( None broken bones so I'm back soon...

GPS works great with new buid. Weird, but still I think that baudrate 57600 gives better satellite connection than 4800. :o

Yes there is.

1) Go to GPS settings
2) turn off "Windows managed" GPS
3) use instead COM4 at a baud rate of 4800

Note: you must use the very latest release for this (2.2.6 build >= 1160)

Great work

Thank you! I will test and report back tomorrow!

We want this to be absolutely stable ...

So here's a new test release that gives the GPS even more time to get connected:

http://downloads.rungps.net/Setup_RunGPS_UV_EN_build_1159.exe

Maybe you could also try reducing your baud rate to 4800 - seems to work for other users and for Run.GPS it doesn't matter which baud rate you use.

Maybe it isn't Run.GPS related problem

I think that isn't actually only Run.GPS related problem. I have read fistfull of threads from forum.xda-developers.com where Diamond users reports that some times they can't wake up GPS. Solution is to do "a kickstart" with different program like GPStest or HTC GPS tool. After kickstart GPS works normally. I could think that I had same problem at yesterday! Maybe these programs will help you to solve problem at last!

GPStest http://gps.pdatopsoft.com/PocketPC/GPS-Test
HTC GPS tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=360477

That's bad. Anybody else who still has the problem?

(HTC Diamond does not connect GPS on startup when configured to COM4@19200)

GPS not connecting when application is started -problem is back

Sometimes GPS still not connecting when application is started! Situation is now better but sometimes I still have to start GPS manually (sometimes have to do it couple times before it starts).

2.2.6 Build 1158 funktioniert jetzt einwandfrei auf COM4@4800.

Keine Problem, GPS direkt beim Start. Thanks
