You can download it from here:
http://www.rungps.net/wiki/OldVersionDownloadsEN

Please install the trial and send the ID (might be different from 2.x) to info[AT]rungps.net. We'll send back a licence asap.

sometimes it had picked up 12 sats but recently it only got 8 or 4 sats, please send me the lic, I will give it a try...

Some ideas / thoughts:
- 4 satellites is usually too few - it's good to have 8 satellites in view for a good position fix (but maybe the Mio 168 doesn't support more, it's not in the datasheet http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=488&view=1)
- since the Mio 168 is running Windows Mobile 2003, you might want to use the older 1.2.8 release http://www.rungps.net/wiki/OldVersionDownloadsEN; it has less features but is also less resource consuming; I can send you a licence if you want

today I tried it again, but the gps accuracy was even whorst, I resetted the pda, configured run.gps with com2 and 4800bauds, it connected with 4 sats and good quality, then after running I noticed the gps being way out of my route as you can see in my last training. This is becoming annoying now.

no, but I recorded another one today with run.gps and it's still the same, not accurate on route at all with similar weather conditions as my last try using mysporttraining. I don't understand why you speak about gps constellations, I tried it over a month now with run.gps, I guess there was at least one good constellations, but since Feb the gps tracking is not accurate anymore.

Did you record the *same* training session with mysporttraining and Run.GPS (only possible if you use "managed GPS" or a port splitter)? You know, satellite constellations change, so the GPS quality depends on many factors such as the weather, the satellite constellation, where the device is placed, ...

You can upload GPX files from your user homepage ("Navigation Routes").

I just finished my run at cloudy, rainy weather and recorded it with mysporttraining. It is nearly perfectly accurate, compared to run.gps much better and that with the bad weather conditions, I have the .gpx file here but can not find a way uploading it on gps.sport to show you. So I doubt it is a problem of my gps device.

Did you try recording a track using mysporttraining? Run.GPS uses the same coordinates from the same GPS device as other software does and the coordinates are changed in no way. So ... maybe there still is a problem with the device. Other software just cannot have different information.

nothing helps, unfortunantely.
hard reseted the device, only installed latest run.gps 2.2.0 and tried .net gps and com gps, both are connecting and are looking good when standing still, but when moving or running they are not accurate anymore, installing another gps software (tomtom or mysporttraining) shows strong gps reception even when moving.
It's a shame, but I guess I can't use run.gps anymore and that just after I bought it.

You could do the following:
- delete the /My Documents/Run.GPS/configuration.xml file so the whole configuration will be reset
- take out the battery and do a hard reset with your device, then put it on the ground in an open spot so the device has good chances to gather all satellite data

Hope this helps.
