It stopped working again

I have been using the app about three weeks now with out a problem, but!

I thought I would customise a screen to my needs and found again that it would not track me when I pressed the sleep button.

I would however start recording a track (jumping from the last point I had the screen on) to where I was when I turned the phone on.

It appears to me that adjustment to the default settings of the app seem to cause this to happen for the app.

The choice is use the app without most of its features (the beauty of the) app or don't use it at all until the issue is fixed.

I think I will just reinstall it and us it as it is. I is much more powerful than anything on the market place so far.

Thanks for your help.

I have the windows phone 8 (Nokia 920).

As you say, the app works in the background with the lock screen, but my problem is that it has stopped tracking after a number of uses for no apparent reason. The only way to reset it was to uninstall the app.

On one occasion (from memory) the only change I made to the app was To turn off the voice announcement option.

It is working at the moment, so I will let you know when it stops.

The question is which Windows Phone edition you have - 7 or 8? Both versions are completely different. WP8 supports real multitasking for apps (you can switch between apps and Run.GPS will keep on running and recording) while WP7 does not. Recording with locked screen should work in both environments, though.

Tracks work at first then stop working when screen is put to sleep

At the moment, I have had to uninstall and reinstall the app on my Nokia three times to get it to work.
The problem is this. When I first install the app on my phone it works perfectly. Then for unknown reasons, it stops tracking my progress when ever i turn off the screen.

I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I was thinking that it may be a problem related to the on screen lock screen button but I pressed it once since the last install and it seems to be still working ok.

Any suggestions?

I have also translated my post to German so others may be able to help too.

Im Moment, habe ich zu deinstallieren und installieren Sie die App auf meinem Nokia dreimal, um es an die Arbeit.
Das Problem ist folgendes. Als ich zum ersten Mal installieren die App auf meinem Handy funktioniert es tadellos. Dann aus unbekannten Gründen, stoppt er Tracking meine Fortschritte wann immer ich das Gerät ausschalten Bildschirm.

Ich weiß nicht, was ich falsch mache.

Ich dachte, dass es vielleicht ein Problem im Zusammenhang mit der auf dem Bildschirm Lock Screen-Taste, aber ich drückte es einmal seit der letzten Installation und es scheint noch funktioniert ok.

Irgendwelche Vorschläge?
