Thanks for the detailed bug description - we could now reproduce it. It will be fixed in the coming 2.3.9 release.

1. run the training (title and desc are empty)
2. stop the training and go to training settings
3. fill the title and desc.
4. go to training diary and click on this workout.
5. workout is displayed , with valid title and empty desc. I don't click "load workout" here!
6. go to training settings again and open the desc, I see the description is valid in editbox.
=======================
to see the desc in training diary I had to perform following steps:
1. go to diary, open the workout and click "load"
2. go to workout settings , open desc edit box, (text is valid there) and press Ok again.
3. return to diary and see the description is now displayed.

looks oddly, there are no issues with title.
my config: htc hero, with Android 2.3 (gingerbread) and Rungps 2.3.8

I just did what you wrote:

- load a stored training
- enter description text
- go to training log >> training screen

I can see the description text. I tested on Android 2.1 with Run.GPS 2.3.8. Which is your configuration?

when I finished the training, I'm going to load this back and fill title and description before uploading to portal
there is no problem with title,
but the description is not displayed on training screen in training diary,
i can see this in editbox while edit only and also I see this in portal. but in training diary, the description is displayed as <empty>
===============================
actually, I use description field to save exercise repetitions,
it's hard to track the results. unfortunatelly, app doesn't have any features to track repetitions per round or per interval (in cross-trainings and interval trainings)
any plans to add this feature?
