Works as described

I started with the Run.GPS Lite application and was very comfortable with the live view together with the principal data (speed, distance run), so whenever I reactivated the screen it showed me where I am and which way I ran.

The Run.GPS Pro application does not offer such a screen. You get the first screen full of stats but no "light view" any more.

A part from that GPS reception with this mobile phone is ok with some drop outs (in forests).

Just came back from a 12 km early morning tour and it worked flawlessly.

Just don't turn on the screen often, leave the phone in sleeping state, the run.gps background program is still running and recording your data (it does not consume much energy).
I don't use bluetooth however (no heartbeat monitor) so I cannot tell anything about battery usage with bluetooth on.
