Unable to connect Zephyr HxM and BT GPS together using Windows Mobile 2003
After purchasing a Zephyr HxM HRM my HP 3715 won't connect to the heart rate monitor in Run GPS as the external bluetooth gps is using the same serial port. I can't change the port in bluetooth settings as is described in the instructions as this didn't become a function until WIN MOB 2005 .
The HRM and GPS won't even connect in the bluetooth manager at the same time so I think Run GPS has got buckley's of getting them both to work at the same time. Has anyone else experienced the same difficulty or am I just asking too much of my ageing HP3715 (maybe HTC touch HD time).
I have also the HxM and have no issue conecting to Run.GPs , I just followed what was described in the manual:
1) pair it
2) allocate a COM port
4) in Run.GPs settings-> cardio settings, put the COM port of 2) and choose the type of cardio to be Zephyr HxM
5) in Run.GPs settings-> cardio settings, the baudrate is 19200
6) in Run.GPs settings-> cardio settings the box "use COM.net" is thicked
and it worked. I did it with a htc tytnII(kaiser) and with a htc touch 3G (jade) without issue
I have the Zephyr HxM. I was able to pair the device to my Samsung Blackjack II, but Run GPS is unable to connect to the HxM. Any ideas, or settings the community has tried to get this connected would help.
