Well, I suppose I can work around this, by creating a 3h+2x3 screen and using the 'Training Start/Stop' button on top row, and the Lap Select Control on the 2nd row. But not sure what to put in the 3rd row? I can't find a 2h screen?
So can we have a 2h+2x4 screen, or better, a 1h+2x4+1h screen to separate the lap control buttons during hot and sweaty lap intervals :)
However, ultimately, the logic for me is that when you have a screen headed with the 'Training Start/Stop' button (which has the Split button- so encourages using Laps) then any Lap data on that screen will give information about the *current/last lap*
I think I understand. The intended use of the lap specific displays is that you place a lap select control on each screen that contains lap specific displays, because it contains the logic of switching to the current lap.
I have created 2 Lap screens. The first has the 'Training Start/Stop' button on the top row (plus a few other 'dynamic' metrics), the second has the 'Lap select' button on the top row (plus other data review metrics). I use the first when I hammering out intervals (on the bicycle), the second to review performance. I have noticed that if I move to the second screen and review the last lap, the first screen does so too. Good. But when I move the second screen to the last lap, i.e. the current lap, the first screen does not stay in synchronization. So, every time I start a new lap from the first screen, I must go back to the the second screen, manually select the last/current lap and then back to the first screen. Laborious and dangerous.
I hope this makes sense? It is a little difficult to explain. Essentially I want the first screen to always show the CURRENT lap.
