Update, now it's working

I found out that there is a problem when you use run.GPS together with Automagic (Premium) on an Android phone (http://automagic4android.com/de/).
When I start run.GPS I see that flows in Automagic which normally run every 15 seconds, are now running every 2 seconds. So I started run.GPS without having Automagic running. At first it didn't give instructions and the info per km. was not completely spoken (some items where not spoken). I had the media volume high only. So I inceased the system and the notification volume to a high level, and from that moment on everything worked fine. Which is a little bit strange, because when I set the system and the notification volume back to zero it keeps on working.

This morning I ran the same route: http://www.gps-sport.net/trainings/Bemelen-Cadier-Keer-Heer-Maastricht_1380327.
I used a wired headphone instead of my Bluetooth one, to exclude any connection problems.
I set speech output to 500m. From the start I did get some directions, but before I ran 1 km. navigation instructions stopped. First speech output was at 1 km., then at 2, 3 and 4 km. Then there was no speech output until 12 km. After 12 km. speech output was every 500m. and navigation was also working fine until the end of the run at 15,5 km.
When I was off track I heard the notification pings, but no speech.
Do you have your own speech engine? I can change the voice from Google or Samsung TTS, but in run.GPS it doesn't change.
I checked the memory and under idle circumstances I have 700 Mb free RAM. I have no issues with TTS when I use car navigation.
I looked for any debug info in the run.GPS directories, but there is none, maybe that could have helped you.
Basically voice stopped when leaving the town and going into the fields/wood and it came back when I arrived back into town, seems strange, but maybe there is a relation?
Is there perhaps another app on my phone which doesn't work well together with run.GPS?

Meanwhile I purchased a licence for the Pro version, as the trial had ended. I hope I can get the navigation working correctly.

I have not encountered any problems with voice navigation using S3 + 4.3

I will check next time I use the navigation. I hope I can give you more detailed information. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android 4.3.2. Memory management is normally arranged by Android. I setup info per km. and per 5 minutes.

I will send you an email for the Excel file. I will review the Dutch translation. This is of benefit to both of us.

Does anyone else have the problem of voice output stopping for 15 min and then resuming?

This is not a program crash because in this case voice output would not resume ...

What voice output frequency did you set up? Time based or distance based?

Could it be that your main memory is full (so that the TTS engine cannot start in some cases)?

If you want to have a look at the translations, I can send you all translations as Excel file. In this case, please send me an email to support@rungps.net and I'll return you the file.

During a long run, the navigation stops.

I am running with the trial version. I really like the voice navigation, as it is almost impossible to read the screen on a sunny day. However in the middle of a long run navigation stops suddenly and you do not get any direction info anymore. Afther a while (15-30 minutes) navigation resumes again. This now happened twice and that's really annoying. I have downloaded the maps to my smartphone, and there are no gaps in the OSM maps. There are no gaps in GPS reception as the tracking of that run is complete and accurate.
One other minor issue is that the translation of some words is not correct. I guess that has something to do with the TTS engine. Is it possible to change the translation myself?
