I think it is a good suggestion to provide not only TOP 100 activity levels but a more complete list. I'll put that on the change list.
One suggestion from another user was to show a second activity level, which is based on *all* activities, also manually entered ones. Maybe that would be a good solution.

Dear admin,
I appreciate your efforts to improve fairness of activity level calculation although I am now dropped from horse (9.2) to capricorn (7.5) because of my (over)weight. As a next step for improvement I suggest to expand the list of supported activity types. I understand problem of easily cheating with manualy entered or non GPS tracked records but activities like walking if tracked by GPS already pass plausibility check. (In my case walking activity contibutes in almost 50% of total calorie consumption). I also found it would be motivating for us that are no more along top 100 if complete ranking list will be available.
We had to modify the calculation mode of the activity level for more fairness ...
See explanation from last Friday's newsletter:
Activity Levels and Fair Rankings
Over the years, we have been optimizing the fairness of the rankings quite a lot. We have added strong filters to filter out incorrect or cheating training recordings. Now we decided to make another modification:
All rankings are based on the burned calories of training activities. But these caloric values are the higher the heavier you are. Therefore, women and light men are disadvantaged.
The solution: During the next week we will introduce a weightig of calories by body weight. All activity levels will be calculated anew and the rankings will be re-sorted. At the same time, we will lower the activity level for all to provide a better stimulus to become a lion (activity level 12).
So, for the first time, women will get a fair chance to make it to the higher positions in our GPS-Sport.net rankings!
My activity level dropped from 8.6 to 7.4 overnight. I am training for a triathlon so I am running or cycling everyday.
I swam for 1 day, which doesn't get registered, and my activity dropped a huge amount. Just 1 day. Every other day has running or cycling.
I don't believe this is in anyway related to my training, I suspect it's a fault.
