And yes, it would be great to get distance from the speed sensor - very useful for indoor trainings. Scenario: start training on tacx, train 10km, stop and upload to portal.

Yes it will! Our prototype already does. We have to get everything running smoothly and then we'll publish the new release.
You'll be able to:
- enter your bike's wheel circumference
- obtain speed and cadence from the sensor
- optionally use the speed obtained from the sensor as the "main speed" (the other option is to just display it in an extra field "sensor speed")
One open issue is if we should also add an optional function to calculate the distance from the speed sensor. But probably this is not necessary as the distance obtained from GPS is usually more accurate.
Sorry for the delay. Work has been going on on this issue for a while and I'm confident we can provide an Android release with Bluetooth LE Speed and Cadence support in January.
Wie ist der aktuelle Stand der Entwicklung? Warte auch schon einige Zeit auf die Anbindung der Trittfrequenz in Run.gps.
Gruß und alles gute im neuen Jahr.
Great. Thanks for update. Seems I will have to wait a few more weeks for both...
Samsung's 4.3 update for the Galaxy S3 has been withdrawn due to major bugs experienced by unlucky first adopters (in Ireland and Korea). Apparently the bugs are so numerous and consistent, you really have to wonder about Samsung and/or its beta testers! Making too much money? At least Apple just go blow it on USD15 BILLION on a new office HQ!
