I see that Zephyr uses HRV to calculate VO2max in their OmniSense software...
do you mean that any VO2max calculations based in HR variability can be performed by Polar only?
1. Yes it is done by Run.GPS - see other current forum discussions on that topic.
2. HRV analysis is patented by Polar so we cannot do the same thing.
3. + 4. On the long run, I think we need to provide something similar, yes.
I'm looking for a android training app with fitness tests similar to polar watches:
1. R-R interval recording for analysis on PC.
2. Something similar Polar OwnIndex - as far as I understand this is equal to VO2max but calculated using RR variability
3. OwnOptimizer - test for recovery between trainings
4. OwnZone - recommended target zone based on currect warmup
I believe who used Polar HR monitors knows these useful and helpful features for daily training
Does RunGPS support (or planned) these (or some of them) features?
