Annoying music turning louder instead of attenuating while voice output reports training data

Run.GPS (Licence: Trainer UV Pro) version 2.4.2, build 2601
Motorola Atrix - Android version 2.3.6

I have been having problems with voice output since I left my old Windows Mobile version with its natural sounding voice and turned to hte Android version. Previously I could easily listen to training reports while listening to music because the music was attenuated during Run.GPS voice output. There was no conflict at all between music and voice output.
I recently udated Run.GPS to version 2.4.2 expecting this would fix this problem, as it was said in previous changelog. Unfortunately I've been experiencing the same problem as before: instead of attenuating, music plays much louder while the voice output speaks. The music becomes so loud that I can barely hear the voice output. And besides that, its fast spoken robotic voice makes it almost impossible to be understood while coverd by loud music.
I'm looking forward for a solution to this problem soon. Otherwise, the voice output turns out to be a useless feature when you want to listen to good music while training.
