RR & HRV Data

Basically I have hr-data files as indicated. hr-data.dat seems to be slightly difficult because for some training sessions it doesn't contain any values.
Question to the programmers: At what point do you write hr-data.dat (end of session as a subset of the entire training or continuously written file)? Sometimes the software crashes at the end of the training and then I definitely don't get hr-data information!
I downloaded the Kubios Software, too, which by its idea is great and where the background information is quite substantial. On the other hand you have to be careful with the quality of the data you "upload" to Kubios. I used the online "simplifier" from run-gps which eliminates columns and blanks but does no quality check on the data - neither does Kubios. In case you loose certain heart impulses due to chest-strap and/or Bluetooth issues the time interval becomes unlogically long (e.g. three times the expected values) you will notice the impact on the SDNN value immediately! So make sure you correct those things in advance!

How to obtain RR data for HRV

Anyone having any luck downloading RR intervals and/or seeing HRV analyses of their sessions? I am running UV Trainer-Trial (release 2.3.9j, build 2381) on Android and have downloaded the Kubios HRV software as indicated in the "extras" under the MY GPS-SPORT tab, however I do not see any files called hr-data.dat in my training folder. I am waiting to purchase beyond the trial version until I can confirm that I can download the RR data or at least have the HRV calculations (see below) show up in my reports as advertised (I cannot find these anywhere):
ø NN Interval: average duration (ms) of NN interval
ø HRV: average heart rate variability (ms)
SDNN: standard deviation for NN intervals
pNN50: percentage of NN interval changes greater than 50 ms
pNN100: percentage of NN interval changes greater than 100 ms

Thanks for your help!
