Thanks

Sounds great, thanks for the update. I hope Androids new Vers 4.0 ICM doesn't wreak much havoc with the program. But if it does it may be time for a revamp to improve resolution and add some swipe features that have been raised on other wishlists.

The only drama I see with the buttons not being lockable is it may bring up the alt run GPS screen or worse back out of the program to the home screen which may unlock the screen and enable touch again. But at least it's a start.

Thanks again for the quick reply

Yes probably we'll add a lock button in the next release.

One problem though: on Android, we cannot lock the hardware keys, so it's not sure if this makes so much sense. Only the touch screen can be locked.

Please review Lock/Unlock addition

As previously mentioned the functionality is not there. It's a pain not being able to unlock a screen from the phone lock screen as opposed to having just the lock/unlock icon within the app.

Added it sometimes takes two hands during the phone unlock process as opposed to the winmo lock/unlock app feature and this could cause difficulty whilst riding etc.

This deserves to be looked at as a matter of urgency for a new release as things are supposed to get better not worse when upgrading technology.

Happy I've still got my winmo phone as a backup but for a premium app at a premium price it surely deserves attention.

In the Windows Mobile version of Run.GPS, there was a Lock/unlock application button in the application Control bar. Unfortunately, this does not appear to exist in the Android Version. Can this be included in a future release of Run.GPS for android as is very useful for training to keep the display on, backlight off (low) and screen locked during my training. (I do not like turning the screen power off and on to see my progress as I need to enter a lock pin on my phone to unlock after power wakeup due to my Email Exchange Security Policy!)

The Backlight on/off function also does not appear to work on the Android version (Run.GPS 2.3.9d)
