Well, I finally came around to giving it a try but the version on my old device is 2.3.2b1515 which does not yet have an export to gpx option.
So could you please send me a link to an older version that has the export?
I assume you can see my email address?
Humm I would like that, but you made me think. I still have my old mobile device lying about somewhere. I'm going to give that a try first. If that does not work I will get back to you.
Thanks.
OK, sorry about that. So it seems that this old data format from the beginning of Run.GPS cannot be read by the current release. This is Windows Mobile, right? If you want I can send you a link to an earlier version (Run.GPS Trainer + Analyzer) with which you should be able to read and export the data.
It did not work after all. The gpx on the phone is also an empty template.
The original data.gpb file (54KB) is renamed to data.gpb.1.bak and a new data.gpb file is created of just 46bytes
The reason for this is that we once had all the GPX and KML files lying on the server. But these files simply took too much space so now they're created on the fly from the database.
The reason why the very old trainings do not work is that the file format is not compatible. This should only concern trainings from 2007.
If you have the Pro version, you could load the trainings in Run.GPS and export as GPX.
Recently I tried to download all gpx files of my past trainings as a backup and for importing into an other piece of software. This went fine until I got to the oldest trainings. The download seems to go o.k. but the resulting gpx or kml file is an empty template. It contains the headers but no data. The map does display the track so the data seems to be there.
An example is http://www.gps-sport.net/trainings/cycling_1259
If the data is not on the site anymore, I do still have those trainings on my phone, is there a way to convert that data to a gpx file?
