I do not understand.
Is it currently possible to get a text of a placemark read by a voice or is it planned in the future to integrate that.
With TTS it should be easy.
I stumbled over the same..... want to import a file with about 4000 POIs into the map, and found out that this function is completly missing. Can also not find a way of importing such a file on GPS-Sport.net, only the possibility of adding single placemarks.... or did i miss something?

On Android, importing placemarks from the app is not possible. You can, however, create placemarks in GPS-Sport.net RoutePlanner and put them to your download cart for easy synchronization. __
Thank for admin.
And there still the second question:why I can't see the menu for importing placemark from the "main-menu"->"placemark".There only a export menu.
Run.GPS for Android is based upon Android TTS (text to speech), making the app much smaller and: adding the ability to output any text you like, e.g. read the abstracts of nearby Wikipedia entries.
Formly I used a Run.Gps for WM5.0,It has some functions like voice routeing &inporting placemark from kmz or gpx file.
But now I turn to use Run.Gps in android, these two funtions was missing.
Also, you can notice that the install package for android is less then 2M,compare to that for WM is 7M.
