On the training pages both the GPS altitude diagram and the topographic altitude diagram is displayed. GPS altitude: the altitude information your GPS device originally recoded. This is often very inaccurate. Topographic altitude: this is the ground level altitude. It is more accurate than GPS altitude. If you're in a plane and fly around this is not very helpful, though.
