Well, I'll answer my question myself, then:

There are oviously Apps that let's you connect an external GPS to your Android phone.
You can find more info on this here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=756201

Better with external GPS (at least better than Galaxy S's internatl)

Tried to post this in a comment. Try to bump it in an own topic:

Is it possible to add support for external GPS units in Android? (here, unlike Windows Mobile, there is only support for the inbuilt)

I have switched from Windows mobile to android. Unfortunately i chose Samsung Galaxy S which has some GPS bug in the first units to market. It leads to noisy gps data and occasional lost connections >> wrong Distance, speed and others.

I thought about connecting the old gps mouse until firmware updatd fixes, but it doesnt seem to be possible to use external GPS in Android version??

Moreover i think the external GPS would give far better tracking, especially for trainings in forests where trees can obscure the satellites.
