Bluetooth HXM

With the version 2.3.5 Bluetooth HXM was working with HTC Hero but the GPS was not working.
Now with the new version 2.3.6e the GPS is working well but now when Run GPS is trying to connecting with Bluetooth HXM I get the error
Failed to connect heart rate monitor. Pleas try different settings.
With other application the Bluetooth HXM works well.
I am using Android 2.1 some body can help me with this problem?
