New user to the Zephyr and to Run.Gps but for what its worth....
Works great with legend running 2.1 and now 2.2......just need to remember to switch it on before start of work out both with blue tooth and in "heart" HRM screen then "Connect".. job done. Haven't started messing with the screens or the settings yet but data seems OK based on previous Suunto/ Polar experience with HRM. Will keep you updated but initial impression is that its a good piece of kit.
Zephyr pairs but will not connect, therefore doesn't work with Run.gps or Endomondo, as advertised. Very, very pissed off (not with Run.gps or Endomondo I should say).
All,
I just received my HxM and it works with the HTC desire (build 1.21.110.4) the only strange message I got during the test was "HRM signal too weak" but I assume this is not related to the BT connection but to something else.

Zephyr HxM not connecting on HTC Desire
You can add HTC Desire to the incompatibility list, but I have some information on this:
Another developer (www.Sportstracklive.com) told me of this issue. His app is working with the HxM on Nexus One and not on Desire. Although the Desire is supposed to be identical spec-wise, he suspects HTC's Sense UI is somehow connected to the issue. He issued me a special version with an unconventional workaround and I'm able to connect to the HxM unit. But the solution is not working consistently. It pairs fine but only connects 50% of the time. When it is connected, it works as expected.
Froyo might very well take care of this but might not see that update until August or September.
well, I'm not sure if you can say that the Zephyr HxM doesn't work on _all_ Android devices. It doesn't work on Samsung Spica i5700. The reason is that Bluetooth SPP (serial port) does not work on the Spica. There are numerous people interested in this bug (looks like Samsung will have to look at it). Hopefully it will be fixed in the next version of the official Samsung firmware and then the Zephyr should 'just work'.
I connected the Zephyr to my linux box over bluetooth spp and it worked perfectly - so the problem really does seem to be related either to the bluetooth hardware (bluetooth is one component of the broadcom 3-chip-on-die solution used in the Spica) or to the Android kernel driver for that chip. We'll have to wait and see. The guys from eSymetric have been very responsive about this, but I think that they won't be able to do anything until the hardware/driver issue is fixed by the manufacturer or by Google.
Hi,
I have an HTC P3600 (Trinity, 3 years old now)
I search a Heart Rate Bluetooth Type Zephyr HxM or other !!
Who send it but it's so expensive !
cfarrel ? Your Zephyr doesn't work with Android ;-) ... sorry
