After such "bad positions" had been recorded, is there a way to edit (or at least drop) them so distance/speed values and graphs can be made representative again? If not possible, could I add it to the wishlist (in Run.GPS software, through gps-sport.net or maybe even a PC utility)? Thanks.
THis is almost the same issue I have:
http://www.gps-sport.net/trainings/mountainbiking_264342
It used to work very well, and suddenly it starts recording wrongly. I can remember exactly if aroud that same period I made any upgrade or any change on my phone (htc hd2).
So I upgrade the application du 2.3.6 but it did not improves.
I noticed yesterday that, it's only when I wake up the phone that the data are update on application.
The GPS reception depends on many factors like
- weather
- GPS satellites constellation
- how the device is carried
- which device you use (big differences)
You may:
- increase the "max accepted DOP" value (GPS settings)
- use a neoprene armband/belt
- try downloading QuickGPS data
- buy a device with excellent GPS antenna (for example Motorola Milestone)
This week i had 3 times wrong distances even tough i checked GPS status before starting running. Before everthing working well and i did not change anything...
