Tested with the new version today:
http://www.gps-sport.net/trainings/running_245742
Looks a lot better, the overall stats now match reality (yay!), the heart rate looks good so far... the only thing that is still strange is this huge volatility in speed/pace which basically makes the graphs useless (they go up to 450km/h)

I get the horizontal line, but I don't understand the part that looks like lots of samples in the 60-70 range when I was running like mad and had > 170 heart rate.

Thanks :-)

When there's no HR signal from the heart rate monitor (it can be that the HRM is perfectly connected and provides accelerometer data but no HR data), Run.GPS will display the last heart rate. This is where the diagram shows a horizontal bar, e.g. from 4:46 to 14:18 in your example.

Both of your sample trainings look like the HRM didn't have good contact.

Oh, and, before I forget it: thanks for a great product - it's really nice to see everything I need in one application :-)

Actually, this:

Does not look like the application didn't get any data from the heart rate monitor, since there are values throughout the whole time series...

Distance:

This problem should be fixed with the latest release 2.3.6 build 1952 (available on www.rungps.net and Android Market), which is much more stable when using GPS and the Zephyr HxM accelerometer for distance / speed calculation.

Heart rate monitoring:

These problems usually occur when the heart rate monitor strap gets too dry. You can try making it more wet before you start or buying an electrode gel (from a pharmacy or on Ebay).

Hi, I bought the Zephyr + GPS-Run package for android. I have mainly two problems so far:
- the overall distance / speed are completely busted when I don't have GPS for the whole time, and at least 10% wrong if I have GPS for the whole time (example: http://www.gps-sport.net/trainings/running_242875 - the interesting thing is that in the altitude graph the distance is approximately correct)
- the heart rate monitoring is flaky: (example http://www.gps-sport.net/trainings/running_242839) - since I cannot control the heart rate while running any more, I cannot adjust - is there a way to get an audio of just the heart rate more often?

Overall, with those 2 problems I didn't have a single really accurate run yet.
