It is in the spec

Hi, Thanks for the response, good to know it work ok.

http://www.htc.com/www/product/desire/specification.html says it should include an FM Radio.
But I will wait to see whether the BBC will improve iPlayer support on Android, particularly direct download to the phone which I can do happily on Windows Mobile.

There shouldn't be a problem with that, but afaik it's not 100% sure that the Desire will get an FM Radio.
I'm using Run.Gps on my Galaxy while listening to my music without problems!

Android versus Windows Mobile and FM Radio

Hi All,

I have a slightly unusual request for information, so I hope someone can help me.

I am a big fan of runGPS, and love to use it on my windows mobile phone whilst our running.
I listen to the FM radio at the same time, and the fact that runGPS can announce interval times, and how far I am behind my pace time is quite brilliant.

I am currently using a HTC Touch HD running windows 6.0, and it is almost time to upgrade.
I am considering either the HTC HD2 or and android phone.

Does anyone know if this will work on Android ?
The phone I have in mind is the HTC Desire (I know that it is not out yet), but I think there must be someone else doing something similar with Android, maybe on the Hero

Any help greatly appreciated.
