Yes you're right. In Android, we now use the built-in software keyboard. In older versions we always had big problems using the Windows Mobile keyboard because it terminates the "kiosk" (fullscreen) mode. But I think we could give it another try and create a new dialog which uses Windows key input.
Here here. I asked for this a long time a go. The text editor is like something out of MS-DOS 20 years a go! Allowing cut and paste, so text could be entered from another (dedicated) program would be even better.
I just can't ride my bike without Run.GPS. And it's getting better with each update. Although minor bugs and problems have been fixed lately, the keyboard is a major one and it should be improved.
The missing accentuated letters makes it difficult to write in languages other than English. And what about editing a typo or something you'd like to change in the beginning of a training title? It's totally insane backspacing the whole title so as to change the first letter capitalization for example.
This improvement would make much easier editing training titles, training descriptions and also placemark description, if possible (the latter still only editable on GPS-Sport Rout Planner).
