- at the moment connecting to a HR monitor is possible with all Windows versions
- it is and will not be possible with the Android Lite version
- it will be possible with the Android Run.GPS UV / UV Pro versions but we have to implement Android 2.0 support first! (should be done in December)
- adding HR data after uploading a training to GPS-Sport is possible with all versions (there's a link on the training details page)
Tom: I read through the manual and saw which devices to use and that it was possible.
I think, to be more clear, I was wondering if this is possible with all versions of the software. I downloaded the free version from the Android Marketplace and I created my account on gps-sport.net. However, I don't get an option to upload HR data.
Do I have to upgrade to the full version for that? At this point, I'm assuming I do.

There is another way (that I adopted being quite difficult at that time to buy Zephyr). You might buy FRWD B series. It works perfectly with my HTC Diamond.
There are two ways to get HR data attached to your training recording:
- use a Bluetooth HRM (Zephyr HxM or FRWD B600) - this is the recommended way because you'll get all data in Run.GPS and on GPS-Sport.net; NB: at the moment this is possible with Windows Mobile only! this is because Android 2.0 hasn't been released for a long time - a Run.GPS version supporting Bluetooth HRMs on Android will be coming in December
- use any pulse watch, export the data, and import the file on GPS-Sport.net (to find out if your watch is compatible, just try the "upload hr data" function on the training page; this is totally independent of the Run.GPS version you use
I recently downloaded the Run.GPS lite package for my Droid (Android v2.0).
I created my account here and it seemed to work for me tonight. I correctly recorded my 6.5 mile run.
As I was going through the site, though, I read in the instructions about uploading heart rate data.
Based on the user manual, I'm assuming I need to have the UV Pro version of Run.GPS. Is that correct?
I have a HRM that will output to CSV format and I'm wondering if it will upload correctly. I'd like to try but would like to know what version of the software I need before I go about this.
