Well GPS mainly depends on the following factors:
- weather conditions
- current satellite constellation
- objects between your device and the satellites (mountains, trees, buildings, ...)
- how you carry your device (do not carry it in your hands, use some case)
- the quality of the GPS in your device, of course
What you can do:
- have the device lying on the ground in open space for a while
- reset it (sometimes helps for some devices if the GPS is stuck)
- use QuickGPS if you have it on your device
Hi, I've been using Run GPS for a while and I've been very happy with it. This weekend I upgraded to 2.3.3 to be able to upload long trainings, which now seem to work fine.
BUT: Now the GPS tracking has gone mad. The tracks are now only sort of what I've biked, but it may add some extra kilometers in the beginning and ad some strange turns and stuff that I did not make.
Is this a known error? Any tips on how to solve it?
(also I believe that the GPS more often goes on weak signal or looses signal than before I upgraded)
