Did this this go anywhere?
I used to store and analyse all my data via Polar Protrainer, but that is now mothballed by Polar :(
So, can I upload my run.gps/gps-sport data in to TrainingPeaks?

Hi dorphin,

Polar XML format Training Plan Import

Does anyone know how to import training plans into GPS-Sport.net site. I have customised training plans which I can export from Polar Personal Trainer site in XML format but I cannot find a way to import the training plan to this site even through third party sites or formats. Anyone?

Another Vote for WKO+/Trainingpeaks.com upload compatability

I am testing the current version of Run.GPS right now, and I really love the amount of data available--as well as the ease of use. However, two things are keeping me from being ecstatic: my older HR strap doesn't get picked up well; and, upload compatability for TrainingPeaks.com is a must. I've been using TrainingPeaks.com since it was TrainingBible.com (and using Joe Friel's Training Bible in print version before that). So, Run.GPS communicating with TrainingPeaks.com is a must for me!

Yes the ability to export HR data from Run.GPS for use in Firstbeat Athlete or WKO+ would be greatly appreciated. The most widely used format appears to be polar .hrm and the ability to export this from either the phone or indeed the portal would be ideal. Do you still require sample data / how are things progressing?

Agree with mpt that EPOC would be another great addition, especially if it was calculated dynamically in the software.

I am a new user and so far really like you software and this functionality would be the icing on the cake.

xml

I just have xml files from my Polar F6. I'd like to import the data. How can I convert the xml to readable csv or txt?

Yes you're right. Finally the software suddenly started (after 1/2 hour), so I could see the different formats. They only support vendor specific formats but no simple formats. Does anyone have sample files containing HRM data WITH R-R intervals (not only heart rate) in one of the following formats:
- Polar .HRM
- FRWD .txt
- Holster .dat
- IBI .csv
- .ste
- .rrm
- .bms
- .sdf ?

Please send them to info@rungps.net so we can figure out if it's possible to convert to any of these formats.

Yeah it should be possible to import txt files (and I think csv as well), but when trying it with both the raw and simplified hr-data it gives a message saying "invalid R-R file format".

I will keep my fingers crossed for EPOC.

> Is it somehow possible to change the format of the r-r file to allow importing it into firstbeat?

I tried to install Firstbeat Athlete on my PC but it won't start ... Isn't it possible to directly import CSV or TXT files? Do you know which files can be imported?

> Is there any chance of there being added evaluation of EPOC to the software in the future?
Possibly, yes. I'm not sure yet how much sense this makes with Run.GPS + Zephyr HxM.

Is it somehow possible to change the format of the r-r file to allow importing it into firstbeat?

Is there any chance of there being added evaluation of EPOC to the software in the future?
