Activating Placemark

Thanks Tom for your help

No, I did not get any lap count, stayed on 1

I looked at the Placemarks settings and I click "Set as navigation target" and then "navigatie Bee-Line" is highlighted and I click it.
I'll try and see if this made a difference but too me it's not really clear if the placemark is activated or not.

File "Waypoints.xml" located in "My Documents\Run.GPS" reads like this...

-------------------
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
- <waypoints>
- <waypoint>
<name>Placemark 1</name>
<kind>STA</kind>
<description />
<latitude>33.367106660</latitude>
<longitude>-117.054978335</longitude>
<creationTimestamp>633846499090000000</creationTimestamp>
</waypoint>
</waypoints>
-------------------

I'll try it out and then I'll share the results...

So you did not get any laps at all? Did you activate the placemark as navigation target? It works only if the placemark is an active (beeline) navigation target during the recording.

Lap detection don't works. I have general settings, Lap Detection, "Start new lap when crossing target" checked.

I used it when I did some motorcross, each lap took 1-2 minutes, I pass no more then 2-3 meter from Place mark in less then 15 km/t.

I exported the track and the place mark and it seems to be all right, see attached screen shot.

Anyone know what the specs/limits are for the Lap Detection

Emil
