How about the current overall leader for athlete of the month - "kukong75"? Seems to be an active user, for sure, but the distances for the users 'mountainbike' trainings seem pretty incredible...sure enough when you look at the trainings on a map, at least 99% of their distance is on the pavement.
Since the calorie burn between mountainbiking and road biking is fairly significant over a given distance/time, I would consider those trainings 'unplausible', wouldn't you agree?

Plausibility Filters V3
... sorry for the triple post ...
The plausibility filters have been updated again to bomb out the cheaters. The newest update only applies to newly uploaded trainings, but the users "hika99" and "shakagafi" have been completely run through the new filters :-)
@recneps: I think the problem of this solution would be that we would not get enough ratings for each training. There are so many training uploads every day ... probably only few trainings would get rated.

Wait and see is precisely what I suggested. However, if a competitive user who regularly appears on the rankings accidentally selects the wrong sport and uploads, it will probably get filtered out. With no way to correct the sport on an uploaded training, that user will likely drop in the leaderboards.
Again, in all likelihood the filtering will never affect me personally so I probably shouldn't care.
