It's pretty difficult to support many different import formats which include extensions to support extra data like cadence, heart rate et cetera.

Our two native formats are: GPX and TCX

Other formats are first converted to GPX using GPSBabel.

Cadence in a TCX file should be already supported! Please send the file in question to support@rungps.net so check what's wrong.

GPX or TCX Import to GPS Sport

Hi,

is there a difference between importing a GPX or a tcx file from my Garmin device.
Why is the import not using the cadence which is in the garmin file.

I would like also export the title name and description of my trainings!

How can I do that then?

So when I want to sync my trainings to Strava it will be having the same title name and description!

Here's a good comparison:

I'd prefer TCX. But note: the title and description of a training is not included.

Is there any difference between GPX or TCX files when I export my trainings?

Which is better and preserving the most data?
