Description:	Its a very long time since I tried a completely new sport. So it was with some trepidation I joined Will and Doreen up at the beautiful plateau des Glieres, scene of the famous French resistance in WW2, for some x-country skiing (ski skating). It felt like a mix of downhill skiing on thin skis with no boots, rollerblading, iceskating and bloody hard yakka! Tiring, especially when youre crap at it, but great fun. And such a beautiful day to be up in the mountains :)
